We set up a safe space with all of the equipment and tools for "Y"ou to install a solar power system that connects only through your vehicle's Shore Power 220V 50A Service.

After you schedule a "day" at www.rvdiysolar.com to install Shore Power Solar, you will be contacted to set up a video chat to see our secret installation center and get a look at your RV. You are now my customer and have my attention.

At www.rvdiysolar.com we have collected everything we can think of to turn your RV into an efficient power station. We will talk about currently available inverters, chargers and batteries to plan your installation. I also need to get a FaceTime or video chat view of your vehicle so we can plan for any custom solar panel racks and a safe place to mount your Power Station. 

www.rvdiysolar.com is not a campground, but I expect that my customers will not be awake for their 24ish hour stay. Sleep in your RV if you like. There will be SOLAR 220 split-phase 50 amp power but no other hookups. Do yourself a favor and get a room at the Best Western Space Age Lodge 4 miles away. Really cool place built in the 50s. This a fun destination for the family and a place for the little ones to stay safely away. The Sonoran Desert RV park is really nice if you want to stay an extra day or two. Avondale and Buckeye are about 40 minutes away too.

1. We get you signed in and parked. At www.rvdiysolar.com we have a LOT of effective and dangerous tools as well as ladders and scaffolding to safely complete your installation. Add electricity and we are going to need EVERYONE to sign a waiver. If you think little kids running around is safe, you are wrong. I won't allow it. See "What if I get there and do anything dangerous" below.
2. We lay out your parts on the ground outside your vehicle and HOOK THEM UP!!! That’s right, you will have 50A 220 Split Phase SOLAR power running through your coach within hours of arriving.
3. Installation. Here is the hard part. You know everything works laid out on the ground, now you have to weave it into your Recreational Vehicle. I work for you now. Right up to when YOU attach parts to YOUR vehicle.
4. Think of this as a destination vacation to Monster Garage without an actual deadline. We could finish in a day, but that is up to you. We just need to be safe about it. 5. How long will it take? I don’t know your skills, your coach, or how many adults you plan to have assisting you. I do know you will not be running around looking for parts like I did, so I don’t know. A complete installation can be done in a day if we work together and you save the "make it pretty" work until you get home.
6. Where do we start? The roof. You will be tethered to the roof like a bungee jumper or more accurately like Jesse Pinkman at the end of Breaking Bad. You have a wire above you that you can walk back and forth on top of your coach BUT NOT FALL. It is a little restrictive and will slow us down a bit but it is 14 feet to the concrete floor. You don't have this at home. Let's get this part done first. You skip the harness, we skip the roof.
7. Take a look at Sparky the Solar Bus's solar panel racks. Do those aluminum racks holding the solar look expensive? That's only 2 hours work with $100 of aluminum. Zoom in close on the photo (below). See how ugly my welds are? Think you can do better? THAT'S THE POINT!!!! It doesn't matter how they look and YOU CAN DO BETTER. Let's make 6 of them together in an hour. You pick the best 4 and I will sell the other 2 in the store for $250 each to someone with less time and more money. 1. Do you guarantee your work? For the work "Y"ou do at www.rvdiysolar.com "Y"ou have a lifetime warrantee. For the rest of "Y"our life, if "Y"ou don't like it. "Y"ou can do it over.
2. Can I buy more than one day? No. If you do, I will know you didn’t read the website. Try “The one customer every 2 “days” store“.
3. You mean you are just going to sit there and watch me work? I said I wouldn't touch your VEHICLE. I may need to teach you how to weld, or I can do it, or you can buy finished parts off the shelf made by the guy in "What Happens When I Get Here" #7. I work for you for the day, right up until the parts go into or on top of your very expensive vehicle.
4. Can we get all of this done in one "day"? Maybe not everything exactly how you want it but that is OK. The goal is to get the roof panels installed SAFELY. You already know that all the parts you bought/brought work when plugged into your Shore Power line, and you have not altered any of your coach wiring. You don't need me anymore.
5. Will it void my vehicle warrantee? Give the manufacturer a call. Tell them you are going to install a power station in their vehicle and drive it down the road. Honestly I doubt it because "Y"ou will be the installer NOT www.rvdiysolar.com but I don't know. 
6. What if you have more customers than available days? I will change to "The Two Customers a "Day" Store". Join our mailing list for updates on calendar "Day" openings.
